A new, more meaningful name for La Maison
La Maison de soins palliatifs de Laval has changed its corporate name as well as its visual identity. It is now called La Maison de la Sérénité.
Following a request from our major donors and model advocates, the Board of Directors seized the opportunity of La Maison’s 10th anniversary to carry out their wish to give it a more symbolic name, one that extends beyond the idea of “palliative care”. This new corporate name adds elements of quietness, tranquillity, equanimity, well-being, and peace of mind.
COVID-19
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, safety requirements and a curfew apply to visits. These will be communicated during pre-admission.

La Maison de la Sérénité is based on a humanist movement that has inspired many similar undertakings in other regions of Québec and other countries.
A peaceful place where respect and tranquillity are paramount. Each space was designed to provide a quiet and intimate environment to patients and their loved ones.
La Maison‘s activities cannot continue and its financial sustainability cannot be ensured without donations from charitable foundations, contributions from the business community and financial institutions, and without support from the community at large.
